We are excited to announce an upcoming fundraiser hosted by Girl’s Night Out of Rock County to support Beloit Meals on Wheels on Thursday, September 14 from 5 – 8 PM at Bushel & Peck’s on State Street, Beloit. To make this event truly special, we are seeking your support in the form of gift baskets or items for gift baskets for raffles. Let’s join hands and create a ripple of kindness that will help nourish our homebound senior community.
We are kindly requesting your assistance in donating gift baskets or items that can be used to create gift baskets. Whether you’re an individual, a local business, or part of a larger corporation, your contribution will make a significant difference. We encourage you to think creatively and select items that will captivate the interest and hearts of our attendees. We have been lucky to be part of this super fun event in the past and we are so excited to do it again!
Suggested Gift Basket Items and Ideas in Case You Get Stumped 🙂
- Spa and relaxation: bath bombs, scented candles, or luxurious lotions
- Gourmet treats: artisanal chocolates, specialty coffee or tea, flavored popcorn or pretzels
- Wellness and self-care: essential oils, herbal teas, yoga mat, fitness tracker, fitness app subscription, water bottle, protein bars/healthy snacks, and relaxation music
- Home and kitchen essentials: high-quality kitchenware, cookbooks, or decorative items
- Books and entertainment: books, movie tickets, puzzles, board games, or classic movies
