It’s the holiday season and a time to gather with friends and family around the dinner table and give thanks for the year’s blessings. Here at Beloit Meals on Wheels we are very thankful for all the community support and volunteers who deliver meals 365 days a year, so no Beloit senior goes hungry. The holiday season reminds us to think of our often-forgotten neighbors – the home bound elderly – who will likely spend the holidays all alone.
What makes our program special is that we not only do we deliver a hot meal, but something else even more – a treasured human connection when they need it most. So, please keep us in mind for your end-of-year giving. Click here to visit our donation page.
And if you are unable to give financially, please consider recruiting another friend, family member or neighbor to help deliver meals. For any perspective volunteer, they can learn more on our Volunteer Page.
